Problem
Traditional robotic vehicles are limited to forward, backward, and turning motions, which makes precise movement difficult in tight or complex environments.
Solution
I designed an omni-directional smart vehicle in which all four wheels can rotate up to 90 degrees, allowing sideways motion, diagonal movement, and rotation in place.
Highlights
- Designed a wheel mechanism enabling 90-degree rotation.
- Supported multi-directional movement and improved mobility.
- Implemented wireless and microcontroller-based control.
- Focused on applications where maneuverability matters.
Stack
Microcontroller-based control, Embedded C/C++, motor drivers, wireless communication, mechanical design, and real-time coordination logic.
